About Mr Arvinte

Mr Dan Arvinte is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at Bedford General Hospital, where he has worked since 2013. He performs hip and knee surgery, as part of a complete, personalised patient treatment plan - and he has a special interest in hip and knee pathology.

Mr Arvinte trained at internationally renowned, state-of-the-art medical centres in Japan, Hong Kong, Austria, Belgium, Romania and the United Kingdom, where he received excellent testimonials and was recognised as a hardworking and talented surgeon.

Mr Arvinte moved to the UK in 2004 to develop further his theoretical and practical knowledge, by working alongside leading hip and knee specialists.

He has successfully completed two Hip and Knee Fellowships; one in 2006 at Bradford Royal Infirmary and one in 2009-2010 at Warwick General Hospital.

Research, Teaching and Publications

Mr Arvinte has been involved in clinical research throughout his orthopaedic career. He presents regularly to regional, national and international conferences and has published in well-recognised, peer-reviewed orthopaedic journals.

Mr Dan Arvinte is a Regional Clinical Supervisor for medical students from the University of Cambridge, as well as being a Clinical and Educational Supervisor for junior doctors from the East of England Foundation Training Programme.

Outside medicine, he is a passionate tennis player and has enjoyed competing successfully in local and regional competitions for Riverside Tennis Club, Bedford.
